Transcriber now works on Windows!
Podcast Idiot Transcriber’s Linux install worked fine, but the Windows installer fought back at every step. Garbage characters, false success reports, an unreliable ffmpeg fetch, and a silent crash with no clear cause all got debugged through testing on a Dell XPS 13. Rewriting the installer in PowerShell, plus a sharper icon file, finally fixed…
